Weather Resistant Insulation
Insulation systems are often exposed to a variety of weather conditions, climates and levels of UV-radiation and therefore need a protective cladding system.
Most insulation materials will degrade or loose performance over time if they are exposed to prolonged periods of UV-light or moisture. At the same time, one of the most important steps in mitigating CUI - is keeping water out of the insulation system. The outer cladding or weather protection in an insulation system is therefore one of the most important parts of the insulation build-up, and the same can be said about the workmanship involved in fabricated and installing the cladding system.
